PM Leads High-Level Delegations To Attend Aid-For-Trade Global Review Submit
Phnom Penh: Today’s morning, prime minister of Cambodia left this nation to participate in Aid-For-Trade Global Review 2019 to be held in Geneva, Switzerland.
His trip was accompanied by H.E Deputy Prime Minister Aun Pornmoniroth, Minister of Economy and Finance, H.E Pen Sorasak, Minister of Commerce and other senior government officials, according to the press release from ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation that Sky Radio Kh received.
This meeting will be conducted under the main theme “Supporting Economic Diversification and Empowerment for Inclusive Sustainable Development through Aid for Trade” which aims at examining how Aid for Trade can support economic diversification and empowerment effectively, it added.
Due to Cambodia’s impressive achievements on economic diversification and poverty alleviation over the past decades, PM has been invited to deliver his keynote remarks at the opening session which he will highlight Cambodia’s experience, efforts and strategies to overcome challenges and bring about remarkable economic growth, the statement noted.
“He will announce the official launching of Cambodia’s Trade Integration Strategy 2019-2023 and also speak at the Social Program organized by the WTO,” the press denoted.
Following this session, Samdech will deliver a speech at the 41st Regular Session of the Human Rights Council where a clear and important message will be conveyed to express Cambodia’s strong commitment to upholding human rights and democracy in the nation. Micheal
